House Repair Fund-porch floor replacement

Rhone House Repair Fund-

Established by Ted and Larry Wagner to keep our 1853 Leonard Rhone House in good repair-the Wagner brothers have spent the better part of the last several years addressing maintenance issues. They and Joe Kunst are currently finishing up window casings and shutters and have started on the rotting entry porch-the old growth fir flooring and pine column bases show weather damage.

In the above black and white image you can see all that remains of the wrap around Pillared Porch in the 1930’s is the remaining section over the kitchen door. In the images below, you can see where Joe has repaired one column and devised methods to turn new bases.

We will need about $500 in materials to complete this project. We appreciate any donations for supplies. All labor for this project will be donated-quite a crew has signed up.
