MOSS FARM at RHONEYMEADE

State College, Pennsylvania | October 3 & 4, 2026

The Moss Farm Film & Arts Invitational at Rhoneymeade is a curated program of films from around the world that explore our evolving relationship with land, culture, and community.

The program will present films that engage with place, craft, ecology, education, and regenerative ways of living—work grounded in both observation and practice.

The Invitational presents a focused selection of films within an intimate, place-based setting that encourages exchange between filmmakers, artists, and audience.

We are interested in films that:
    •    Explore relationships between people and the living world
    •    Engage with agriculture, land use, craft traditions, and design
    •    Reflect new or evolving approaches to education and community
    •    Move beyond problem-based narratives toward lived or emerging solutions
    •    Integrate strong artistic voice with clarity of intention

This edition of the Moss Farm Film & Arts Invitational takes place at Rhoneymeade, a historic property in Centre County, Pennsylvania, with programming unfolding between indoor and outdoor spaces. Screenings are paired with music, workshops, and conversations that extend the themes of the films into lived experience.

The program includes a selection of films from around the world alongside informal conversations with visiting artists, live music, and hands-on workshops using natural materials such as earth pigments and botanical inks, with additional programming throughout the day.

The weekend will also include the unveiling of Moss Farm’s limited-edition Rewilding Series guitars and basses, hand built in Montreal by Wild Artisan Fellowship recipient Brett James Hawes of Belvedere Guitars.

These elements are part of a broader approach to programming in which film is presented alongside related forms of practice, creating a setting where work can be experienced in context and in dialogue with other disciplines.
