ChicoryLane Symposium - Understanding and Engaging in the Natural Environment
"ChicoryLane is hosting a three-day symposium, Understanding and Engaging the Natural World, on May 15–17, at the Reserve, 246 Brush Mountain Rd, Spring Mills, PA. We would be very glad to welcome friends of Rhoneymeade.
Our Friday evening keynote speaker will be Doug Tallamy at the Wyndham hotel.
Saturday will offer a series of workshops and guided walks (Events Full) at the ChicoryLane Conservation Reserve, exploring birds, native shrubs, insects, native herbaceous plants, and woodcock daytime habitat. Sunday will be a quieter day focused on personal engagement with the land (Events Full).
Rhoneymeade and ChicoryLane share much in common. Both are protected by Clearwater Conservancy easements. We often share tools and ideas. And, perhaps most importantly, we share James Lesher, staff person at Rhoneymeade.
The symposium is free, and friends of Rhoneymeade are warmly welcome.
For details, please see our recently published schedule." -John and Catherine Smith,
