Painting Nature's Light Workshop

Paint the beautiful landscape at Rhoneymeade with artist Katie Molinengo! You will learn to paint the light of the day through optical color techniques as well as color mixing and expressing the sensation of your experience onto the canvas with influence from Impressionism. All skill levels are welcome, but painting experience is recommended. Painting materials are to be provided by the participant, but easels and extra materials will be on site. Oil and acrylic paints are welcome in this workshop. A materials list will be provided upon registration.
Katie Molinengo earned an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA in Painting from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She loves to connect to nature and express light and color.
